On June 17, Transparency International Ghana, in partnership with Transparency International Defence & Security (TI-DS), officially launched the 2025 Government Defence Integrity Index (GDI) Sub-Saharan Africa Dataset and Africa Report in Accra.
The event brings together policymakers, defence and security institutions, civil society organisations, academia, development partners, and the media to examine corruption risks within defence sectors and explore pathways towards stronger integrity, transparency, and accountability.
The launch also marks the introduction of the Defence with Integrity: A Global Agenda for Peace and Security Project, a three-year initiative aimed at promoting transparency and reducing corruption risks within Ghana's defence sector.
