Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Parliament Engage on Collective Anti-Corruption Advocacy

Transparency International Ghana (TI-Ghana), together with the Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition (GACC) and the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP), with Support by UK in Ghana convened CSOs Parliamentary engagement on collective anti-corruption advocacy.

Held in Accra , the engagement provided a platform for dialogue on strengthening collaboration between Parliament and civil society, improving citizen feedback into parliamentary processes, and supporting more effective parliamentary oversight.

Discussions focused on the Political Financing Bill and findings from the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) Audit Report, with participants exploring how evidence-based advocacy, citizen concerns and stakeholder expertise can contribute to an effective legislative process, stronger governance, and accountability.

The engagement brought together Members of Parliament, Members from the Parliamentary Service, civil society organizations, the OGP Steering Committee, and other stakeholders who contributed to strengthening collective action against corruption.
